Are DocuSign signatures legally valid in the UAE?

Yes. DocuSign electronic signatures are recognized under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 46 of 2021 on Electronic Transactions and Trust Services.

Can the agent sign on behalf of someone?

No. The agent sends documents and tracks status. Signatures must come from the authorized signatories themselves.
