Before we start

Install Slack app
We create a custom Slack app for your workspace. You install it as a workspace admin - granting only the permissions needed for your workflows.
Configure channel routing
Map which notifications go to which channels - project updates to #project-name, alerts to #ops, daily summaries to #general.
Set up slash commands
Define custom slash commands for common actions - /schedule, /report, /task - that trigger workflows from any Slack conversation.
Connect external tools
Bridge Slack with your email, calendar, CRM, and other tools. Events from those tools route to the right Slack channels.
Test notification flows
Trigger test events from each connected tool, verify they arrive in the correct channels with the right formatting.
